We wanted to check out some beautiful autumn foliage this fall and we were lucky enough to catch the stunning autumn scenery in late October. The picturesque park is known as Secret Garden of Andong and is a popular park for locals to enjoy leisure walks.
The scenic park in Andong is a joint development by the Andong government and K-water and intended to be a quiet facility for rest and relaxation for local residents. In 2017, a program started to develop Andong Dam area into a tourist attraction. The eventual eco-tourism infrastructure stretches from Woryeonggyo bridge to Andong Dam through Nakgang Waterway Park. The park now serves its purpose of providing visitors a comfortable healing space by creating nature trails and gardens that blend well with the surrounding environment.
Nakgang Waterway Park is beautiful in different seasons and is a perfect place for profile photos. There is always something to see in each season.

Directions:
From Andong station, take a bus to Andong Craftwork Cultural Exhibition Hall Bus Stop (공예전시관 정류장). The bus journey takes about an hour. Walk approximately 15-20 minutes before you reach the park.
